Description

A vibrant bouquet with tart citrus fruit, white peach, and subtle flint notes, accompanied by delicate hoppy hints and a herbal nuance reminiscent of meadow herbs and lemon verbena. With a little aeration, the wine gains intensity and increasingly reveals yellow fruit aromas of mirabelle plum and ripe apple. On the palate, the wine is taut and lively, with a juicy interplay of sweetness and acidity, fine slate minerality, and a long, harmonious finish.

This wine is an excellent accompaniment to light dishes such as grilled scampi with lemon butter and fresh herbs, pasta with homemade basil pesto or a field salad with roasted walnuts, fried goat cheese and light honey mustard dressing.
