Riesling brut | VDP.SEKT

Our 2018 Riesling brut | VDP.SEKT matured in the bottle for more than six years before being ridden and disgorged. It boasts a delicately smoky bouquet with aromas of tart citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit, complemented by sweet yellow fruit notes of mirabelle plum, yellow apple, and pear, along with subtle yeasty, nutty, and delicate floral hints. On the palate, this VDP.SEKT is remarkably harmonious and balanced. The extended lees aging is clearly evident, lending the sparkling wine a pleasant mousse and a fine yeasty texture. These qualities, combined with the ripe acidity, subtle mineral notes, and gently fruity finish, create a truly elegant overall impression.

This sparkling wine pairs wonderfully with crustaceans and seafood such as fresh mussels, tender poultry or veal, and light appetizer salads.
